Proclaimed a National Artist of the Philippines for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022, Nora Aunor is one of the greatest and most influential figures in Philippine cinema. Dubbed as the country's one and only “Superstar,” she is the face of many iconic drama-heavy roles and scenes that live rent-free in the hearts of generations.

But while she was best known as the queen of tearjerking dramas, Nora was so versatile that she could also do comedy with impeccable timing. We didn’t always get to see her funny side, but the Superstar definitely knew how to drop a punchline.

That’s exactly what she showcased during her special guest appearances on various Kapamilya sitcoms, where she bantered with some of showbiz’s funniest personalities, including the Comedy King himself, Dolphy. In these shows, Nora proved that she was a total chameleon, and nailed the genre with the same amount of skill she poured into her dramatic roles.

Nora and Dolphy in one frame! Moments like these were sculpted by the acting gods themselves. It was pure chaos when Nora joined comedy legends and brought her charisma to one unforgettable episode of "Home Along Da Riles."

In the episode, she introduced herself as the long-lost daughter of Elvis, played by another comedy giant, Carding Castro. From her facial expressions to her punchlines, she delivered every moment with spot-on timing, not holding back in matching the uproarious energy of the show’s veterans. This side of Ate Guy just having fun is a delight to watch.

She also appeared on the sitcom "Oki Doki Doc," sharing rib-tickling scenes with the show’s lead, Doc Aga, played by Aga Muhlach, and other great comedians like Babalu and Jimmy Santos.

And if we’re talking versatility, Nora portrayed two completely opposite characters in the episode—a mysterious, strict nun and a flirty, sexy bar singer. She carried both so convincingly that you’d think they were played by two different actresses.

It's an amusing experience to see her playful side. She even dropped lines in gay lingo with ease.

Nora also shared the spotlight with her own impersonators.

With the arrival of these lookalike characters, and with a 'thief' on the loose, Doc Aga’s neighborhood was thrown into chaos. This riot of an episode is one of those unforgettable and rare moments that solid Noranians will always love to revisit.

Nora's legacy as a dramatic powerhouse is undeniable, but we'll definitely miss her humorous side too.
