Ticket prices and details have also been revealed. VIP tickets are priced at Php 3,000 and include one drink and one bar chow, while regular tickets cost Php 2,500 and come with one drink.

The event will follow a first-come, first-served policy, and tickets will be available starting May 30, 2025, at 10 AM (PH time) via Ticketmelon.

Adding to the excitement, Jakarta-based pop-punk band Summerlane will also join Real Friends on the Manila leg of their Southeast Asia Tour 2025.

Formed in 2010 in Tinley Park, Illinois, Real Friends quickly became a defining force in modern emo and pop-punk. The band’s lineup includes guitarist Dave Knox, bassist and lyricist Kyle Fasel, guitarist Eric Haines, drummer Brian Blake, and current vocalist Cody Muraro.

In 2020, the band parted ways with former frontman Dan Lambton, stating they had “simply turned the page to the next chapter.” Over a year later, they introduced Cody as their new vocalist.

In 2024, Real Friends released their fourth studio album, Blue Hour, under their independent label Midwest Trash.

The record delves into themes of grief and growth, featuring deeply personal tracks such as “Waiting Room,” a poignant track about losing a loved one, and “Our Love Was Like a Sad Song,” a vulnerable reflection on mental health and healing.

“Blue Hour is our most personal work to date,” shared Fasel in a press release. “We want these songs to connect with people in whatever moment they’re in.”

In a social media post, the band expressed their gratitude and shared the efforts they put into creating their newest album.

“It’s been a week since the release of Blue Hour and I’ve got to be honest—we are so grateful for the love we’ve received from you. Hearing that this is the best album we’ve ever done truly makes us emotional. We’ve always poured our hearts into Real Friends, so to hear that we’ve reached the pinnacle of our art at this point is incredibly special to us. Thank you for making us feel more alive than ever,” they expressed.

In May, Real Friends officially announced their first-ever Southeast Asia tour via social media.

“We’ve been asked to come there ever since we started the band. We are so stoked to finally make it a reality. See you soon. Love y’all. 🖤,” they announced.

The band’s Southeast Asia tour will also include stops in several major cities across the region. Before their performance in Manila, Real Friends will head to Bali and Jakarta in Indonesia, followed by shows in Singapore, Bangkok in Thailand, and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
