K-pop star Hoshi of SEVENTEEN gifted fans on Sunday with a music video for his self-composed song "I Want You Back," coinciding with the celebration of his 29th birthday.

The video, uploaded to SEVENTEEN's official YouTube channel, shows Hoshi in a series of scenes: packing items into boxes, listening to music in a bedroom, going for a walk and lighting a candle on a cake that bears the song's title.

Hoshi co-composed the track with Bir$day and former K-pop idol Shannon Bae, according to the video's description. He also co-wrote the lyrics with Bae.

Born Kwon Soon-young, Hoshi debuted in 2015 as a member of SEVENTEEN, one of K-pop's most popular and commercially successful boy bands.

The 13-member act recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with the release of its fifth album "Happy Burstday."

Hoshi is also part of the sub-unit BSS alongside fellow SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan, and forms a duo unit with Woozi.

Hoshi and Woozi are set to launch a fan concert tour, titled "Warning," in Seoul this July. The tour will also make stops in other Korean cities, including Busan and Gwangju, as well as in Taipei, Taiwan.
