Filipino fans showed their appreciation to Southeast Asian music as they once again welcomed Indonesian singer-songwriter Pamungkas and Thai band Scrubb with their loud cheers and electrifying energy.

Pamungkas and Scrubb shared the stage together at the al fresco concert organized by Gabi Na Naman Productions for their 10th anniversary celebration.

The concert was held at 123 Block, Mandala Park in Mandaluyong City on Saturday night, April 26.

Nearly 400 individuals attended the event, according to the organizers.

The Jakarta-based musician performed 17 songs from his various albums including his global hit single “To the Bone,” delighting the concertgoers with his thrilling yet soulful performances.

The other songs he performed were “Riddle of the Night,” “Birdy,” “Closure,” “One Bad Day,” “Jealousy,” “New Feeling,” “I Love About You,” “Live Forever,” “I Love You but I’m Letting Go,” Be Okay Again Today,” “Wanna Be Yours,” “Begin Again, and “Let Me Cry.”

Pamungkas, who was surprised that the concertgoers knew the lyrics of his song “Putus” which was written in Indonesian, granted their request for an extra performance.

Meanwhile, Scrubb elevated the fans’ concert experience with their lively and engaging performance.

Despite the language barrier as their songs were mostly written in Thai language, their Filipino fans enjoyed every song they played, with some even singing with them as they memorized the lyrics.

Scrubb’s performance also brought nostalgia to the fans of the popular Thai Boys Love (BL) series 2gether The Series, as they played some of its soundtrack including “Everything,” “Close” and “This Person.”

In an Instagram story, Pamungkas expressed his gratitude to his fans who attended the one-day concert.

“Manila that was lovely, thank you,” he wrote over a video he took as he entered the concert stage.

At the event, Pamungkas immediately took the chance to thank them for their continued support.

“It’s so good to be back here. Thank you so much for having me. Please give a round of applause to GNN, thank you so much. It’s been a great two days of me going back here,” he said.

"Philippines, we are beyond grateful for this vibe," Scrubb wrote in the caption.

Original Pilipino Music (OPM) bands The Ridleys and Shirebound also graced the event with their heartfelt performances.

Pamungkas’ first visit in the Philippines was in 2022 where he performed and eventually collaborated with Filipino pop band Ben&Ben.

Scrubb was also here in 2024 where they performed at the same venue, with Toneejay and Elijah Canlas as their special guests.
