In his post, which included a group photo of Parokya with Rivermaya members Mark Escueta and Nathan Azarcon, Chito wrote why he and his band will always be grateful to them. “Backstage tambay with Mark and Nathan of The Rivermaya.🤟🏽😁 Sobrang laki ng utang na loob namin sa 'Maya.

In the same post, Chito revealed just how close their brotherhood was even when they were not performing on stage. Nakakatuwa lang,” he wrote.

Last month, Chito also reminisced about the early days of their band, sharing a throwback photo of one of their '90s gigs in a post. He wrote, “Eto yung mga panahon na parang hanggang isang ubo nalang ako ✌🏼😅 ...mabuti nalang nakakahawa yung energy ng mga nanonood kaya nakakapag-magdamagan kami 🤟🏽😁 Shout out pala sa mga bars na nagtiwala at hinayaan manggulo yung banda namin nung nagsisimula pa lang kami. 😁👍🏻”

As Parokya’s most active member on social media, Chito couldn’t help but give a shout out to their longtime fans after performing one of their classic songs in a gig last month.
