Blackpink star Jennie debuted at No. 7 on Billboard 200 with her album "Ruby," becoming the third member of the K-pop girl group to enter the chart's top 10 with a solo project, the music publication said Monday.

"Ruby" debuted on the album chart dated March 22 with 56,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard.

With this achievement, Jennie secures her first entry on the Billboard 200. She becomes the third Blackpink member to make it onto the chart, following Rosé, who reached No. 3 in December with "rosie," and Lisa, whose album "Alter Ego" debuted at No. 7 last week.

Released on March 7, "Ruby" is Jennie's first full-length album, featuring 15 tracks and a star-studded lineup of collaborators, including Childish Gambino, Doechii and Dua Lipa.

Lady Gaga also debuted at No. 1 of the Billboard 200 dated March 22 with her seventh album "Mayhem," which earned 219,000 equivalent album units.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States each week, measured in equivalent album units, comprising traditional album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums.

Meanwhile, Blackpink, the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard 200 with their 2022 record "Born Pink," is set to embark on a world tour later this year.
