Japanese rapper, singer and producer SKY-HI (from Jpop group AAA) just released "ID", a collaboration featuring fellow Jpop artists RYOKI (from BE:First), RYUKI (Mazzel) and JIMMY (Psychic Fever from the EXILE TRIBE collective) alongside our very own Ppop phenom FELIP.

The track is a pugilistic and gladitorial rapid-fire hip-hop track, another typical diss rap track to haters real or imagined. The layered musical arrangements run on a frantic pace that perfectly gives the song a bombastic effect.

FELIP makes a remarkable turn in this track as he injects his verse with Bisaya lyrics. According to @SKY-HI STAFF (X, formerly Twitter), Ken Suson verses read as: "Kusog kay ang fire alarm / Miabot lang ko fire na dayon / Grabe bang aura ko, damn! / Suko napod ilang mga fan / I'm a beast 'di ko ma-tame / Allergic ko sa mga lame / Imong idol kay 'di mi the same / He's not on my level / Is what I'mtryna' say / Too many sa social media 'di ganahan / Sa akoa 'I don't give a f*ck / they wanna control me, control me / control me but they can't / ''coz I'm a f*ckin star!' / Pinaka-highest nga level of disrespect / Kayako 'mong gi compare? / Sa imong idol panuway kang dako? / Uso ko ka artist, 'di ka aware?"

According to @trulyK0112 (on X) and verified on a couple of reliable translator apps, the verse reads as "Lakas ng fire alarm / dumating lang ako fire na agad / Grabe bang aura ko? Damn! / Galit na naman ang mga fans nila / I'm a beast, 'di n'yo ma-tame / Allergic ako sa mga lame / 'Yung idol mo, 'di kami the same / He's not on my level / Is what I'mtryna' say / Too many sa social media na 'di ako gusto I don't give a f*ck / they wanna control me, control me / control me but they can't / ''coz I'm a f*ckin star!' / Pinaka-highest level of disrespect / 'Yung i-compare mo ko / sa idol mo, panuway* (loosely translated to a devil who functions as a bad influence) ka / Isa akong artist, 'di ka ba aware?"

This is definitely another small step towards Ppop's ongoing penetration of the global music scene.
