Over October vocalist Josh Buizon is grateful for a second chance at life after surviving a vehicular accident during the holidays.

On Instagram, the singer revealed that he "almost died on Christmas Day" after the accident, which left him with a fractured wrist, injured lungs, sprains, scratches, and bruises.

He had plans to propose to his girlfriend, fellow singer Thea Panaguiton, at the end of the year.

Thankfully, he managed to pull it off despite the setback, with him popping the question on New Year's Eve.

"From tragedy to the happiest moment of my life, my last week of 2024 felt like a movie," he said.

"I nearly lost everything, but instead, I gained forever," he added.

Panaguiton, for her part, took to social media to announce her engagement to Buizon.

Sharing a set of photos on Instagram, she said: "To forever and whatever comes next."

Among those who expressed their excitement over their big day were fellow celebrities Kiana and Gab Valenciano, Frankie Pangilinan, and Bullet Dumas.
