K-pop group izna. Photo from izna's X accountizna, the K-pop girl group formed through the survival program "I-LAND 2," made their highly anticipated debut on Monday with the release of their extended play (EP) "N/a."

The seven-member group also dropped a music video for their eponymous debut single that leads the five-track EP.

Ahead of the EP's release, the septet performed songs off the EP at the 2024 MAMA Awards, a top K-pop ceremony that was held in Japan over the weekend.

Composed of Mai, Jeemin, Jiyoon, Koko, Sarang, Jungeun and Saebi, izna was formed through the talent competition series "I-LAND 2," which aired on Korean music channel Mnet earlier this year.

However, unlike other project groups formed via Mnet's survival programs that typically promote for at least two years, izna is expected to have a standard seven-year contract, similar to regular K-pop acts.

The group is managed by WakeOne, the same agency that handles the rising boy band ZEROBASEONE.
