Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min will be headlining a new K-Drama.

The two stars will be starring in the series titled Would You Marry Me as per report by Naver and translated by Soompi.

The series is a romantic comedy about two people who agree to a 90-day fake marriage for a lavish newlywed house. 


Woo-shik plays the role of Kim Woo-joo, the heir to South Korea’s oldest bakery. A perfectionist and marketing expert, he plans to take over the family business after his father's passing. However, his connection with designer Yoo Mary unexpectedly leads him into a fake marriage.

So-min portrays Yoo Mary, a fearless designer who must find a fake husband to keep the townhouse she won in a newlywed competition. After a failed engagement and a housing scam, she's determined to hold onto her prize. With no other option, she turns to Kim Woo Joo, a man who shares her ex-fiancé's name.

Would You Marry Me will is set to be released in the second half of 2025.

Woo-shik previously starred in the Netflix series A Killer Paradox in 2024, Our Beloved Summer in 2021, and Fight for My Way in 2017, among others.

Aside from his television projects, Woo-shik starred in various films including Wonderland in 2024, The Policeman's Lineage in 2022, Time to Hunt in 2020, and the Oscar Best Picture winner Parasite in 2019.

So-min recently starred in the series Love Next Door. Among her other television projects include Alchemy of Souls in 2023, My Roommate Is a Gumiho in 2021, and Abyss in 2019.

She also starred in various films including Love Reset in 2023, Homme Fatale in 2019, and Golden Slumber in 2018, among others.
