Jungo Pinoy has a channel called Hallypop, which is dedicated to Korean entertainment.

"Libre na lahat!"

This is the promise of the streaming platform Jungo Pinoy as it makes its entire library accessible to users in the country without the need for subscription fees.

The Filipino arm of the Los Angeles-based Jungo TV boasts of a wide array of shows and movies, offering both Tagalog-dubbed and original versions.

Here, audiences can find content across different categories, from comedy, drama, horror, and action to sports programs, and even sexy movies.

Some of the contemporary offerings here include "Sid and Aya," "Ulan," "100 Tula Para Kay Stella," and "Never Not Love You."

Viewers can also go on a nostalgia trip with Jungo Pinoy's lineup of classics such as "MariMar," Thalia's Mexican telenovela which was popular in the '90s, and Julie Vega's classic film, "Mga Mata ni Angelita."

"There's something about nostalgia that everyone loves. It happens around the world," Jungo TV chief operating officer Miguel Santos said in a recent media event, explaining why they made sure to offer content that is not usually available in other streaming platforms.

"We actually started off as a [paid] subscription service... Right now, we're still pretty broad because we cover everything," he added.

On top of the movies and shows on the platform, Jungo Pinoy also has live channels dedicated to Korean entertainment (Hallypop), martial arts (Black Belt), and women's sports (AWSN).

The platform hopes to appeal to a wide audience by not having subscription fees, instead following a traditional free TV model that is supported by commercial breaks.

"We value something just as we value money: time," said Jungo TV co-founder and chief executive officer George Chung. "We have to generate advertising revenues through eyeballs and time. That is why we want to give you the good stuff."

Jungo Pinoy's library of free content is available on its website and mobile app, and can be accessed by users in the Philippines with an internet connection.

But Chung said they are also exploring the option of watching offline, acknowledging that internet can be expensive for many Filipinos. Fans of the platform can also look forward to original content from Jungo Pinoy in the future.
