Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos share advice to women suffering from body issues

Photo by Josh Mercado</div>Real-life besties Rhian Ramos and Michelle Dee dazzled the crowd with their flaming red ensembles at Frontrow&#x27;s Luxxe White Ultima and Luxxe White Slim launch event.The two were unveiled as the faces of the aforementioned products, which recently went viral due to its gimmick. Ramos and Dee gave the entertainment press a combined interview to discuss women&#x27;s body issues, aging, and other showbiz topics.When asked about her advise to women who are suffering body issues, Dee, whose body was the center of attention throughout the event, told ABS-CBN News, “First and foremost, love yourself, love the body that you’re in because it is God-given, and if you’re trying to lose weight, just make sure you’re doing so for the right reasons. Always make sure it’s the healthiest way possible. Siyempre a lot of people have a lot of things to say but as long as you feel comfortable and confident then no one can tell you what to do.”Ramos added, “You really have to learn to love yourself and appreciate yourself. The focus really needs to be more on… the health and the loving yourself that makes you beautiful.”The beauty queen then discussed her thoughts on aging, a topic that many celebrities have long been concerned about.She told ABS-CBN News, “[The point is] why are we comparing ourselves and why are we judging ourselves. We have to be our own biggest supporter at the end of the day. All emotions are valid. Stereotypes are there although I don’t believe in a lot of them. It’s just how we see ourselves. There’s nothing wrong with aging. It’s part of the beauty of life. My mom (Melanie) is… I still find her the youngest and most beautiful human.“Ramos and Dee have been friends for years and share a home, but due to their hectic schedules, most of their contacts have been brief.“We’re both really busy kaya even if we live together bihira na lang po kami nagkikita. Makikita niya ako when I come home from shooting. Doon na lang kami nagkikita,” Ramos said. Her advice to Dee on her love life: “Ang gusto ko lang makita is someone that will fully accept and appreciate Michelle for everything that she is.”Ramos emphasized the value of having female friends in life, adding, “It’s good for your health to have female friends around you. It’s not only healthy for women, it’s healthy for everyone to have female friends or sisters.”Dee then discussed why she and Ramos got along from the beginning, saying, “We’re on the same page. We like the same things. Photo by Josh Mercado</div><div> </div>Meanwhile, Frontrow executives Raymond Francisco, Sam Verzosa, and Richmond Yu also described the viral &quot;Goodbye, Luxxe White&quot; PR gimmick that surprised social media.The idea behind the gimmick was that the brand really placed the product inside the coffin while they were crying and delivering their eulogy.Francisco stated that they just rebranded everything, which they introduced alongside Ramos and Dee.“We just didn’t launch a product. We created a moment in marketing history. Real visionaries never follow the rules -– they rewrite them,” he said.He went on to say that when it comes to producing effective corporate marketing, “Be fearless. Think outside the box. Huwag kang pumayag na maging regular. Huwag kang pumayag na maging generic. Huwag ka ring mangopya. Isip ka ng original.”
