The Philippines' Xena Ramos talked about sustainable development goals (SDGs) and women's potential during the question-and-answer rounds of the Miss Global 2025 pageant.

She finished as fourth runner-up in the competition, which was won by Nhu Van Nguyen of Vietnam.

The first Q&A was a "keyword competition" among the Top 12 finalists, with each of them asked to share their views about a topic that is randomly assigned to them.

Ramos, who got SDGs as her keyword, said: "Sustainable development goals are produced by the United Nations to unite us... Together, we are agents of change in this one world that we live in, and all our actions and voices can ripple and compound to achieve these sustainable development goals."

"As Miss Global we are tasked to do this and we are all united for one global vision and one boundless ambition," she ended.

As Ramos entered the Top 5, she took part in another Q&A where they were asked to discuss quotes inspired by five extraordinary women.

She picked former US First Lady Michelle Obama, with her quote: "No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half its citizens."

The Filipina beauty queen said: "As an architect, an actress, and a content creator, this is a testament that women can be multi-faceted and thrive in male-dominated industries. As your Miss Global, I am a vessel for empowering women and embracing cultures and embodying the beauty within."
