Actress Jessy Mendiola is going all out in supporting her husband, Luis Manzano, as he runs for vice governor of Batangas in the upcoming elections.

During an interview at the Barako Festival in Lipa, Mendiola shared that she is adjusting her work schedule to accommodate Manzano’s campaign activities.

“Sabi ko kanina kahit paghati-hatiin ko pa katawan ko, lahat sila pupuntahan ko. Si Peanut (Rosie, their daughter), siya, syempre yung trabaho ko—lahat kaya kong gawin yan,” Mendiola said, expressing her commitment to both family and the campaign.

While Mendiola is focused on helping her husband, she assured fans that her upcoming project, “Nobody”, starring Gerald Anderson, is still happening.

Talagang pinagbigyan nila ako and I’m very grateful,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Luis Manzano’s mother, veteran actress Vilma Santos, is also making a political comeback as she runs for Batangas governor.

When asked whether she still has time for showbiz, the Star for All Seasons shared that while she remains passionate about acting, her priority is serving the Batangueños.

Kung papayagan ako, baka isang movie in three years. Yeah, why not? Kahit isa, ‘di ba? Kung papayagan naman nila ako, kahit isa,” she said.
