Ji Chang-wook in Disney+'s upcoming series 'Gangnam B-Side.' Photo courtesy of Disney+Ji Chang-wook returns to the crime genre in Disney’s latest series, "Gangnam B-Side," which promises to take viewers into a gritty world of vice and corruption.

The eight-part series, premiering on Disney+ on November 6, centers on Kang Dong-woo, a detective renowned for exposing his corrupt colleagues.

When his daughter's friend goes missing, Dong-woo is drawn back into the perilous underworld as he desperately seeks to rescue the girl from the dangers of drugs and exploitation, the streamer said in a press release.

Jo Woo-jin, whose past series include "Happiness" and "Narco-Saints," leads the cast as Dong-woo.

The cast also features Ji Chang-wook, in his latest crime project for Disney after "The Worst of Evil." Joining him are Ha Yoon-kyung, known for her roles in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "See You in My 19th Life," and BIBI, who also appeared in "The Worst of Evil."

"Gangnam B-Side" will release two episodes per week through November 27.
