MANILA -- Actress Ruffa Gutierrez feels extra special as she received a cute comment from her ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas.

On Instagram, the actress uploaded a carousel of her cute selfies from her recent trip to Toronto, Canada where the eagle-eyed netizens captured the compliments left by Gutierrez's ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas. 

"You look good," Bektas said in a comment followed by a praising hand emoji. 

Days later, the actress responded "You like it when I look like an Eskimo," referring to Bektas' comment followed by laughing and eye emojis

In a recent report, the actress opened up that she and her ex-husband have reconnected for the sake of their two daughters, Lorin and Venice.

"Nag-uusap kami ni Yilmaz ulit and nare-realize niya that time is so precious, that we’re getting old na and he wants to spend time with the kids," the actress said in the interview. 

Gutierrez and Bektas were married in 2003. In 2007, Gutierrez admitted that she and Bektas had parted ways.

However, it was only in January 2011 that their marriage was declared null and void.
