Filipino-Australian singer grentperez and Filipina-American recording artist Lyn Lapid joined forces on the new single "Room For You" released on Friday.

The track entailed heartwarming lyrics about the connection between two people despite being far away from each other. In short, it is an anthem for "long distance relationships" -- romantic, platonic, or even familial.

"I can relate to this a lot when I’m on tour; away from my people. But at the end of the day, no matter how far apart we grow, there's always room for them in my heart,” grentperez said.

As for its music video, the song was interpreted by bright warm visuals. grentperez and Lapid were just strolling freely around Los Angeles, perfectly harmonizing with the lyrics.

grentperez shared on a TikTok video that he always wanted to write a song with Lapid.

"It's just one of those songs that you know -- you want to get someone to be with. I chose Lynn and ultimately, we kind of just made the song," the Fil-Aussie musician added.
