MANILA  -- Actress Charlie Dizon is still on a high after accomplishing two major milestones in her life in one jam packed weekend.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Dizon posted a series of photos from her wedding to Carlo Aquino, and thanked everyone who celebrated with them.

"It's been a week since our back-to-back weekend!!! First I got my first best actress award from one of my dream award-giving bodies, ang Gawad Urian," Dizon said in the post. "A day after, I officially became Mrs. Aquino. Grabe ang timing Lord, I believe this is all YOU."

The actress also mentioned her friends and loved ones who genuinely believed in their journey as a couple. 

"I want to thank everyone who joined us and supported us on this journey. Tulad ng sinabe ko sa vows mahal @jose_liwanag I am proud that we are here today with people who genuinely love us. And that's what truly matters, celebrating our love with the people who mean the most," she added.

Dizon and Aquino were rumored to be engaged in February, when Dizon was spotted with a ring. However, in the same month, Aquino said that while he believes that Dizon is "the one" for him, they have no wedding plans yet.

They eventually tied the knot on Sunday, June 9, in a private resort in Silang, Cavite.
