The issue between the movie producers and Bea’s camp made headlines last year — one of the things mentioned was the actress’ alleged unreasonable demands on the set of the film. Bea’s manager Shirley Kuan refuted these allegations.
Fast forward to May 2024, Ho issued an apology to Bea for all the on-set issues that came out. Speaking to ABS-CBN News during the advance screening of the film, Ho said that there were a lot of learnings from this first movie experience.

“I’m glad that I went through those challenges ‘cause I learned a lot. Looking back and looking to the future, I am a better person because of those experiences.”
Alonzo was not present during the premiere night, but Ho understands why his lead actress didn’t make it. But he sent out an invitation to Bea’s camp.
“Yes we did. We sent invitations to her, we have requested Viva to do that. I also requested my project manager to do that.”

Ho added, “Of course I understand, and I don’t blame her. As a first time producer, I made some calls that wasn’t able to somehow help her that would have been helpful. And I take full responsibility for that. I could improve the next time around. Even if she doesn’t show up, it’s not her fault.”
The first time producer is hoping that the tide will change and they would see Bea attend the next screening schedules of the movie. Nevertheless, Ho has nothing but praises for Bea in the movie.
“Hindi pa naman tayo tapos. We still have a few days before that. Again, I hope and I pray for the best. But she is a great actress. In the movie, you will see her amazing performance. She was stellar in her performance.”
