MANILA -- "It’s Showtime" host Jhong Hilario and his wife Maia celebrated their daughter Sarina’s third birthday in a very special way. Instead of throwing a lavish party, the couple chose to spread joy to those in need.

The Hilario family visited the White Cross Orphanage in San Juan, Manila where Sarina sang for the children and handed out toys and food. The couple prepared a children’s party for the kids at the orphanage, surprising Sarina with the special celebration.

Jhong Hilario also reached out to friends from outside Metro Manila to join in the celebration. They distributed food and toys to the children of Maibo Elementary School in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur, San Miguel Elementary School in Lubogan Toril in Davao City, and Field of Dreams in Guianga Tugbok, Davao City.

In a vlog, Hilario expressed how proud he and Maia are of Sarina for bringing happiness to others. He also mentioned that every year on Sarina’s birthday, they try to make it a point to give back to others.

“At dahil birthday ni Sarina, katulad last year, nagkawang gawa ulit si Sarina, nagpakain sa mga bata sa mga kababayan natin na medyo mahirap puntahan na ilang bundok 'yung kailangang akyatin napakalayo niyan. Sa tulong 'yan ng aking kaibigang si Edwin at siyempre ang kanyang mga kasama at kaibigan na talaga namang pumunta ng malayo para lang maghatid ng mga laruan at mga pagkain sa kabataan of course sobrang nakakatuwa lang na si Sarina napaka bata niya pa pero madami na siya natutulungan at napapasaya,” Hilario said.

(And because it's Sarina's birthday, just like last year, Sarina once again performed acts of kindness by providing food for children in our fellow countrymen who are in hard-to-reach mountainous areas that require a long hike. This was made possible with the help of my friend Edwin and, of course, his companions and friends who really went a long way just to bring toys and food to the youth. It's really heartwarming that Sarina, at such a young age, is already helping and bringing joy to many.)

Sarina has gained a following after her rendition of the classic song “Fly Me To The Moon” went viral on her father’s YouTube channel, garnering almost 2 million views.

As a special birthday treat, Sarina is currently in Hong Kong with her parents after being invited to visit Hong Kong Disneyland.
