MANILA — While OG Sexbomb Girls member Sugar Mercado did not directly address her rumored relationship with former “Wowowin” co-host Willie Revillame, she said she has been single  for two years.

“I am working hard because I am a single mom… Hindi ako [taken]. Two years na ako single,”  she said in an interview after signing a contract signing with a beauty drink brand held in Makati City, Friday.

Mercado, however, said she wholly supports Revillame’s  senatorial bid.

“Siyempre nag-work ako doon kay Kuya Wili-boboto ko yun. Na shock akong tatakbo. Kuya Wil, good luck. Wish ko lang, nasiksahan nating lahat, ‘di lang ako natulungan— maraming mahihirap. kung ako tatanungin, boboto ko siya,” she reasoned.

“Love niya lahat ng tao sa paligid niya. Uulitin ko saksing buhay rin naman tayo na matulungin siya kahit kanino, sa writers, mahihirap, matatanda, sa aming hosts and staff niya,” she added.

Mercado also did not elaborate on her live video that recently went viral where it seemed she was in the middle of an argument. The showbiz personality, however, explained that the incident does not involve her ex-husband.

“May kinalaman to sa anak ko pero hindi sa tatay ng mga anak ko. Sobrang OK kami. Kasal siya, annulled kami. iba yung sitwasyon ngayon. Para sa kabutihan ng mental ng anak ko move on na,” she recalled.

Mercado also argued she did the live video to protect herself.

“Kasi natakot ako. Na-trauma kasi ako and kids ko. Doon na lang ako,” she said.
