They flew all the way to the UK to audition --and boy was the long flight worth it.

JBK, all-Filipino pop-ballad trio, and Filipina-Australian Elysa Villareal are moving past the first audition round of this year's "X Factor UK."

Composed of Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Lawrenz Ordonio, JBK sang their rendition Sam Smith's "Lay Me Down."

"You are making all the Filipinos proud right now," pop star Nicole Scherzinger was said to have told the group afterwards.

Villareal, during her turn to face the judges, covered Fleur East's "Sax."

Both acts got all the four nods, including one from Simon Cowell, needed to pass their respective auditions.

JBK and Villareal will be looking to replicate (or even surpass) the success of 4th Impact, the all-Filipina girl group who had a similar story of making the journey just for the show.

4th Impact, who has since held tours across the UK and other countries, made it all the way to the quarterfinals of "X Factor UK" before being eliminated.

JBK and Villareal join Gaga Lord, a Filipino who works at a school cafeteria, in the next round of the competition.
