This was Cardo's (Coco Martin) promise to his nephew, who is now an orphan.

Eulogies were delivered during Carmen's (Bela Padilla) funeral, which was attended by some of her closest relatives and friends.

Among those who were stood up to give parting words was Carmen's father (Dennis Padilla), who became emotional.

Carmen's father was followed by her husband, Joaquin (Arjo Atayde), who also gave an emotional speech.

"I love my wife so much. The happiest day of my life is when we got married. Sana napasaya ko siya," he said.

Despite knowing who killed his wife, Joaquin kept his mouth shut and pretended he was clueless. Carmen, while she was still alive, also revealed that she never loved him.

Instead of succumbing to his emotions, Cardo, on the other hand, started planning on how to avenge Carmen's death. His main suspect is a motorcycle-riding criminal group.

What he doesn't know is that the real enemy is just right beside him.
