They once were a promising love team, whose fan base grew after starring in the afternoon drama "We Will Survive."

But things changed when Mccoy de Leon joined "Pinoy Big Brother" and met his now-onscreen partner, Elisse Joson.

This gave birth to rumors that Maris Racal felt hurt with De Leon's decision to join the reality show--rumors that persist until today.

De Leon was asked about it on Monday's "Tonight with Boy Abunda," and he said that while they felt sad that they had to break up their love team, none of them had hard feelings about it.

"Hindi nagkatampuhan pero nalungkot siyempre," he admitted. "Kasi magkatrabaho kami at nagkaroon kami ng show."

He added, however: "Pero after namin magkita ulit, nakangiti naman siya. Parang nagkaroon kami ng pagkakaintindihan."

De Leon also maintained that all of them, including Joson and Racal's onscreen partner, Iñigo Pascual, are all good friends.

De Leon was with Joson on the late night talk show to promote "Ang Panday," their Metro Manila Film Festival entry with Coco Martin.

They also expressed excitement over starring in their own film, which would be their first as a love team.
