Malaysian comedian and YouTube star Nigel Ng achieved a new Guinness World Record on Saturday (September 14) for the largest assembly of people dressed as his iconic character, Uncle Roger.

The event, held outside a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, saw 388 people successfully counted as donning Uncle Roger's trademark orange polo shirt and black pants.

The jubilant crowd celebrated by chanting "Fuiyoh!"—a signature catchphrase of Ng's viral online character who comedically critiques food related content and world-renowned chefs such as Gordon Ramsay.

"It felt great to get the record," Ng said, adding that he was nervous not enough participants would show up.

Jess Wong, a supporter, praised Ng for bringing Malaysian culture to a global audience. “He really make Malaysians proud, the Malaysian accent, the slang, the whole thing," she said.

Another fan, Wan Faizul Adli emphasized his pride in Ng as a prominent Malaysian YouTuber.

The celebration also marked the grand opening of the 'Fuiyoh! It’s Uncle Roger' restaurant at the Pavilion KL shopping mall in the Malaysian capital.
