With families and friends all gathered in one location to witness a wedding, the kasalang bayan held at Lancaster New City Cavite was still as intimate as any other wedding.

2. No couple is the center of attention.

Each of the 20 couples who were part of the #Katadhana Kasalang Bayan was given a moment to shine while walking down the aisle.

3. It can get disorganized.

A lot of people were indeed present at the wedding of the 20 #Katadhana couples, but because of a series of rehearsals and proper managing of the event, the wedding up until the reception went smoothly.

4. It feels rushed.

With a program flow and proper timing, the couples and witnesses to the #Katadhana wedding didn’t feel rushed.

5. It’s only for newlyweds.

Four of the 20 couples who were part of the kasalang bayan at Lancaster New City were senior citizens who renewed their vows. It was inspiring to hear their stories of togetherness for more than 40 years… and counting.
