The Script drops additional show date for Manila stop

Local concert promoter Wilbros Live just announced that the Irish rock band The Script will be adding an extra show day for their Satellites world tour stop in the country. This announcement comes after their first day, slated to happen on February 11, has been sold out immediately after tickets were made available.




The additional show date for The Script’s concert in the country will be on February 12, 2025 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.



“Extra show added! Performing their biggest hits and fan faves,” Wilbros said in their caption. 


Ticket selling for the additional show will be on August 17, 10 AM through TicketNet outlets nationwide and their official website TicketNet.com.ph. 


Based on the ticket prices for the first show, fans can watch the band perform live once more for as low as ₱1,200.

Other details for the new show have yet to be announced by the concert promoters as of writing.


Fans of the Irish rock band expressed their delight in the comment section after the additional day was announced. Some fans shared that they are hoping to get a ticket on the second day to see their favorite band.


“Grabe excited na po ako,” a fan shared.


The Script was formed in 2001 and is composed of Danny O’Donogue, Glen Power, Benjamin Sargent, and Ben Weaver. Former member Mark Sheehan served as the band’s guitarist and vocalist prior to his passing in 2023. 


Some of their hit songs include “Breakeven”, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “Hall of Fame”, “If You Could See Me Now”, and “Rain”, among others. 


They last came to Manila in 2022 as part of their Greatest Hits tour.
