The cast of hit Kapamilya sitcom Home Along Da Riles reunited once more, but this time, to honor the late Comedy King, Dolphy. They made sure to commemorate the 12th death anniversary of the comedian and paid tribute to their Tatay Kevin.

Present at Dolphy’s final resting place were Claudine Barretto, Gio Alvarez, Smokey Manaloto, Boy 2 Quizon, Maybelyn dela Cruz, Vandolph, and veteran actress Nova Villa, among others.

The Home Along Da Riles cast honored the late veteran comedian and held a simple service to give honor to him.

“Tatay you are terribly missed 🙏 mahal na mahal k namin,” Claudine wrote.

“Remembering Tatay Kevin’s 12th Death Anniversary. We miss you, our Tatay Kevin,” the other cast members added.

In the video the cast uploaded simultaneously on their respective Instagram accounts, several of them gave a short message as they prayed over the soul of Dolphy. They uploaded the audio of Dolphy’s rendition of the hit song, "What a Wonderful World," as well.

“Bagamat hindi ka namin nakikita, nakakasama ng personal–– pero kahit kailan hindi ka nawala. Nandito ka sa aming mga puso,” Nova shared. 

“Mahal na mahal ka namin tito Dolphy at nandito kami–– ang inyong pamilya para alalahanin ang inyong kabutihan, sa mga tawang ibinigay ninyo sa amin. Ang sobra mong pagmamahal sa bawat isa sa amin,” Maybelyn added. 

Fans of the hit sitcom series expressed their happiness in the comment section after seeing the whole cast still having close ties with each other despite the show ending two decades ago.

“Im sure si tatay Kevin happy sya dahil madalas kayo mag kakasama,” a fan shared.

“22 years na pala yun. Halos di ko sya na miss dahil hanggang ngayon pinapaligaya pa rin nya tayo sa mga pelikula nya na parang buhay na buhay pa sya,” another fan added.

Earlier this year, the whole cast of Home Along Da Riles had a mini reunion as they reunited with former actress Cita Astals. The cast was emotional after she surprised them after several years of not seeing each other.
