Korean actor Kang Tae-oh was discharged from Korea's military service on Tuesday, March 19.

According to a report by Naver as translated by Soompi, the K-Drama star shared a message for his fans after completing his military service

"I enlisted after receiving great love from everyone after wrapping up Extraordinary Attorney Woo. I faced the end of my 20s and start of my 30s in the military, and it was a meaningful time during which I fixed my bad habits and earned only good things," Tae-oh remarked.

He added: "I will work to impress with great projects going forward, so please show lots of anticipation and love."

Prior to enlisting in the military, Tae-oh starred in the K-Drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo in 2022.

Tae-oh played the role of Lee Jun-ho, a legal assistant who falls in love with Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), a lawyer with autism.

Following the series Tae-oh gained more fans internationally.

"It was really surprising to see the growth. A lot of international fans are leaving their comments on my Instagram account. I cannot understand them all, but I know they are supporting me because they use heart emojis. I sometimes use a translator to read them. And it looks like many of them are also watching my previous dramas like 'The Tale of Nokdu," he said in a past interview with The Korea Times.

On working with Eun-bin on the series, Tae-oh shared that he learned a lot from the actress when he was working with her.

"We are almost the same age, but [Eun-bin] has much more experience than me. She was so professional and was always in a good mood, although she had a lot of lines to memorize and many things to prepare to play Woo. She also gave me advice to maximize the on-screen chemistry between Lee and Woo. I learned a lot from her," she remarked.

Aside from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Tae-oh starred in various dramas including Thirty Nine, Doom at Your Service, Run On, Love with Flaws, and Evergreen, among others.
