Kapamilya actor Juan Karlos revealed his new girlfriend on Instagram just in time for Valentine’s Day. The singer-songwriter uploaded a selfie that he took while kissing the cheeks of his new partner, Dia Maté.

With nothing written in the caption except for a single heart, netizens assumed that this was the new love in the life of Juan Karlos. He made sure to tag this special someone in the photo as well, which led netizens to discover she is a Miss Universe Philippines candidate who’s set to represent Cavite this year.

“Happy Valentine’s Day love,” Dia commented on the post.

Apart from being a beauty pageant contestant, Dia is also a singer-songwriter and a music producer as well. She released several songs such as "Kalimutan," "Another Day," "I Wanna Make You Mine," among others.

Meanwhile, celebrity friends of Juan Karlos teased him in the comment section of his post. Fans of the actor-singer expressed their support for the new couple as well.

The Senior High actor was previously with Maureen Wroblewitz before they decided to part ways in 2022. He previously shared that they ended on good terms and there is no bad blood between them.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with PUSH, Maureen shared she is in no hurry to get back into a relationship.

“I don’t want to talk about my past person (laughs). And because I know he wouldn’t want to do that to me as well. And I wouldn’t want to put him in a negative light but I just wanted to speak my truth because up to now I’m still healing and I just lost such a big part of me and so I’m trying to gain her back,” she shared with PUSH.
