Drag Race Philippines season one contestant Marina Summers is set to showcase her talent to the rest of the world as she joins the official lineup for RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World season two.

The Filipina drag queen will represent the Philippines and battle it against the other 10 international drag queens.

Apart from Marina, vying for the crown are Choriza May, Gothy Kendoll, Jonbers Blonde, and Tia Kofi of Drag Race UK, Arantxa Castilla La Mancha of Drag Race España, Hannah Conda of Drag Race Down Under, Keta Minaj of Drag Race Holland, La Grande Dame of Drag Race France, and Mayhem Miller and Scarlet Envy of Drag Race of the US.

The 27-year-old drag queen will be the first queen from the Philippine franchise to compete in the international edition of the competition.

Thousands of Marina’s fans expressed their support for her in the official post and on various social media platforms. They said they hope that she would be taking home the sought-after crown.

“IPAKITA MO KUNG SINO KA MARINAAAAAAAAA,” Actress Maris Racal shared.

“It’s over for EVERYONE,” a fan wrote.

“YES QUEEN WE ARE READY FOR YOU,” beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo added.

Meanwhile, Marina took to her personal Instagram to show gratitude to everyone who believes in her.

She also assured her fans that she will represent the country in the best way she can on the international stage.

“Thank you, UK for welcoming me with your warm support! I am forever grateful for this moment. I cannot wait to make another killer season with you,” she wrote.

“And to my home country, Pilipinas, this is for you! Maraming maraming salamat sa pagmamahal! I will raise our flag every step of the way,” she added.

Marina was the first runner-up in the first season of Drag Race Philippines––just behind Precious Paula Nicole. Ever since she finished her stint in the reality show, the drag queen has been making several songs to promote the drag culture in the country.

Meanwhile, Drag Race Philippines was renewed for a third season as announced by the producers last year.
