Pira-pirasong Paraiso actor KD Estrada expressed his sentiments towards bashers who have been attacking his family and his loved ones.

In his post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the 21-year-old actor set things straight as he told fans to stop associating him with other pairings and with a fandom who constantly bashes people he cares the most about.

“To the former ship/fandom I was associated in: I DON’T want to be associated with this fandom and the other person of this ship no longer (sic),” KD wrote.

KD added, “I have kept these feelings in for 2 years but some of you have already crossed the line.”

The actor also noted how a “certain fandom” constantly criticizes his onscreen partner and special friend, actress Alexa Ilacad.

“Your team CONSTANTLY bashes Alexa who I genuinely care about, which to some of you can’t seem to wrap your head around,” he said.

He continued: “I have let your hate and criticism towards me slide, I take that. But I cannot allow this ‘fandom’ who claims to ‘support’ me bash the family and person I love.”

KD then addressed observations that he changed a lot after his Pinoy Big Brother stint.

“And if you’re all asking for an explanation as to why I changed after PBB? I don’t owe any of you that. But if you want a simple explanation, it’s because I GREW UP,” he fiercely said.

He ended his statement with: “I am giving you the consent to send or even POST this to all the remaining Ky*i.”

Fans then reacted to the actor’s statement, saying that he is very courageous and a gentleman to speak out and defend his special someone, Alexa.

“I salute you @kdestrada_ (KD Estrada) for having a strong values. Fighting for your loved ones. Thank you for protecting and loving @alexailacad (Alexa Ilacad). She deserves the love and care that you’re giving her. I love you both. God bless. Forever a KDLex fan. Hanggang dulo🤍,” a fan wrote.

“I understand where KD Estrada is coming from. He resented the bashings to Alexa of the fandom for 2 years. He ignored the bashes directed to him, but he can no longer allow the bashes against Alexa, who he loves, and her family. I support KD on this, wholeheartedly,” another netizen expressed.

“Tackling these matters head on now is a gift.  Thank you KD for speaking up. You know what you want from this area of life at this time, and you’re ready to speak up for what you need. Don’t let your nerves stop you from saying what you want.  Salute. 🫡,” another fan remarked.

Although he didn’t mention any names, many concluded he was possibly referring to Anji Salvacion with whom he was previously linked during their stay in the Pinoy Big Brother house for season 10 of the show in 2021.

Anji and KD already knew each other even before entering the house and they became closer inside. However, Anji rejected him, saying that they had no chance of having any romantic relationship.

The actor then started to become closer to fellow PBB alum Alexa, even appearing in a number of projects together.

In 2022, KD addressed, for the first time, speculations about his relationship with Anji.

“At this point, we are good. Me and Anji are okay,” he said during an interview with ABS CBN News.

“To everyone listening out there na me and Anji are good, we’re civil naman. So hopefully there’s no bashing against each other, No more fan wars,” KD added.
