Real life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes shared how excited they are for their upcoming film, Rewind, which is set to hit the theaters this year. The two took to their Instagram accounts to express how hyped they are for the filming of their latest movie.

Rewind will be co-produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc.’s Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and AgostoDos Pictures.

The Kapuso actress wrote in her caption that this was “God’s perfect time” for the two of them to be back on screen again. Marian and Dingdong last paired up on the big screen back in 2010 in You to Me Are Everything.

“I am beyond blessed to be able to share the screen with my loving husband in God’s perfect time. We can’t wait to bring this project to life and make unforgettable memories together,” she wrote.

Dingdong shared how excited he is as well for the project as he gets another opportunity to work with his wife. For the Kapuso actor, “the wait is finally over” for their fans who have been longing to watch their chemistry on the big screen.

“An exciting project is in the making, and this time, I have the pleasure of working alongside my amazing wife! 😘 After more than a decade, the wait is finally over as we announce our upcoming film 'REWIND,’” he shared.

During the announcement for the film, Marian admitted how she always wanted to work with Star Cinema since Dingdong kept sharing his experience with her.

“Sobrang excited. And at the same time, kay Direk (Mae Cruz-Alviar). Kasi si Dong, ang daming kwento tungkol sa kanya. Sabi ko nga kay Dong ‘Sana balang araw ma-direk din niya ko.’ Kasi punong-puno ng pangarap ‘yung kwento ni Dong sa akin every time na mag-Star Cinema siya. So sabi ko, ‘Sana balang araw,’” she previously said.

Rewind will be directed by box office director Mae Cruz-Alviar who previously worked with Dingdong on the 2013 film, She’s the One. She is also known for her several hit films such as Unbreakable, Can't Help Falling in Love, and Everyday I Love You, among others.
