Teen artist, 16, dies in car accident

Andrei Sison, a teen artist under Sparkle GMA Artist Center, has died in a tragic car accident.

He was 16.

The talent management agency shared the sad news in an official statement released this Friday morning, March 24.

It reads: “Sparkle GMA Artist Center sadly announces the passing of one of its teen artists Andrei Sison, due to a car accident early this morning.

“Our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Andrei. We request everyone to respect his family’s privacy in this time of great loss and join us in praying for the eternal repose of his soul.

“He was a well-loved and much cherished member of the Sparkle family.

“We will miss you, Andrei. Be with God now.”

Per Candy Magazine, Andrei rose to fame for posting dance covers and other trending videos on TikTok where he had over 8,000 followers. Andrei was supposed to make his debut as a Sparkle Teen this coming April.

Actor Ricky Rivero, who is apparently related to Andrei and his family, reacted to the tragic news on Facebook.

"Gone too soon. I love you my pamangkin," he said.

Rest in peace, Andrei.
