Rewind star Dingdong Dantes shared a wonderful moment as a Philippine Navy reservist.

In his Instagram reel update, the actor shared some clips from his training as a reservist and from his reception rites.

“I am truly honored to share this milestone as a Reservist. Ooowaaah!” the 43-year-old actor and host said.



“I have just accomplished my reception rites into the distinguished ranks of the The Philippine Navy Seabees!” he shared.

Dingdong also added, “Still catching my breath pero sobrang worth it! Always happy to serve the organization and the Nation. Maraming salamat po, Philippine Navy! @philippine_navy #PhilippineMarines.”

In the video clip, the star can be seen doing push-ups, tire training, running, climbing as well as saluting and walking on a red carpet surrounded by navy officials.

Dingdong also showed a clip of himself at a podium speaking and receiving an award.

The Kapuso actor also posted a slideshow of photos from his training exercise with fellow Navy reservist and actor Rocco Nacino.

“Konting papawis muna with my buddy, 2LT Nacino, bago pumunta sa media conference ng Rewind. #PhilippineNavy #PhilippineMarines #Reservists #Seabees,” he wrote on his post.

In October, the actor also shared a one-of-a-kind moment during his service day.

“Grateful to have shared my passion as an actor, director, producer, and reservist with 28 talented students from the media specialization course of the Philippine Navy on my service day yesterday. We explored the art of storytelling and the vital role of directors in shaping our nation's narrative. @philippine_navy @cmog.pn,” the actor said in his post together with a carousel of photos from his lecture.

Dingdong is starring with his wife Marian Rivera in the Star Cinema Metro Manila Film Festival entry Rewind this month.The trailer for the film gained over 16 million views just 24 hours after it was posted.
