Celebrity mom and content creator Marjorie Barretto honored her late father, Miguel Alvir Barretto, during his birthday last Friday, September 29.

She penned a heartfelt letter to remember the Barretto patriarch, who passed away in 2019.

Marjorie admitted how it has become a challenge for her to celebrate September 29 in the past couple of years.

“Days leading to September 29 for the past 4 years have always been the hardest for me. I feel unstable, and I have a certain sadness I still have not been able to analyze. It’s your birthday again Dad and today I miss you even more than the past years,” she wrote.

Marjorie uploaded a reel on Instagram, highlighting her father as a grandparent to her children.

She shared some throwback photos and clips of where her children can be seen having a bonding moment with the late patriarch.

“Grateful to God he made you my children’s grandfather. Oh how you made them all feel so loved and protected. You were there for all their milestones and their highest and lowest and ever so ready with your generous hugs and jokes. You are such a great loss to us, Dad,” she added.

The celebrity mom hoped her father had a wonderful celebration in heaven and wished he would continue guiding her family from above.

“But how can we match your celebration in heaven today. You must be so peaceful. Continue to look after my children and me, Dad. We love! Happy Birthday! Have a blast in heaven,” she ended.

Various friends and fans went to the comments section of Marjorie’s post to wish her father a happy birthday.

Some added a personal touch to their stories by sharing how they coped with loss.

The Barretto patriarch passed away weeks after he celebrated his 82nd birthday in 2019.
