Janine Gutierrez shared a series of throwback photos with her mother Lotlot de Leon to mark the veteran actress's birthday on Monday, March 21.

The Marry Me, Marry You star posted the pictures on her Instagram page, along with her simple but touching birthday message for her mom.

"How did I get so lucky. Happy birthday, mama! I love you so much," she said.

In the comments section of her post, Lotlot said: "I love you with all my heart anak… Always."

Janine is the daughter of Lotlot with her former husband, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez.

They have three other children, including Diego Gutierrez, who also followed in their footsteps and ventured into show business.

Meanwhile, Lotlot took to social media to express her gratitude as she turned another year older on Monday.

"So yes, I turn 50 today and I am grateful for all that life has brought and taught me... for all the good and the bad... Grabe.. ang dami ko pa gusto i-share at sabihin pero sige ito na lang," she said.

"Sa lahat ng nagmamahal at nag titiwala, salamat.. Sapat na sapat kayo! Papa God, thank you. Ikaw na po bahala sa akin lagi.. alam nyo na po 'yun!"

Ending her post, the veteran actress said she is looking forward to "many more years of blessedness" with her family.
