Through her Instagram Stories, Joyce opened up about her ongoing pregnancy journey, saying that the first few months were rough.

“Found out we were pregnant last August… The first 3 months was ROUGH. Had some bleeding. I was nauseous ALL THE TIME, I did NOT want to eat anything, and it was just a hard time overall,” she wrote.

“I went through some of the toughest experiences during the first few months of this pregnancy; most of them without my husband by my side because of the lock in taping,” she said. “But by the grace of God, here we are. Happy, healthy, and expecting our little baby in a few months. What an incredible blessing. Thank You Jesus!”

Following her announcement, showbiz friends were quick to congratulate her and Juancho, including Iya Villania, Camille Prats, and Isabelle Oli.

Joyce gave birth to her first child with Juancho, Alonso Eliam, in July 2021.

She and Juancho wed in February 2020. They tied the knot in a garden wedding in Manila after less than a year of dating.
