Nothing’s going to stop ABS-CBN from soaring even higher as the Kapamilya network recently inked another partnership deal.

ABS-CBN Integrated Corporate Communications Division confirmed that some of the country’s leading content provider’s lifestyle shows, produced by its cable channel Metro, will air on Discovery Asia and Asian Food Network, and discovery+.

“ABS-CBN inks a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to air its lifestyle shows in Central and Southeast Asian territories on Discovery Asia and Asian Food Network, and on-demand via discovery+,” ABS-CBN PR wrote on Instagram.

Shows that will air in various Central and Southeast Asian territories include Beached, The Crawl, and Foodprints.

ABS-CBN struggled following the denial of its broadcast franchise renewal in 2020, in addition to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

But the Kapamilya network went full speed ahead with its digital transformation and transitioned from focusing on free television to becoming one of the country’s top leading content providers.

ABS-CBN has since collaborated with various platforms and broken barriers including its partnership with other media networks in the Philippines including TV5 where some of its shows air on free TV and GMA-7 where ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc.’s films air.

The network also collaborated with various streaming platforms including Netflix, Viu, and iQIYI.
