Squid Game star Jung Ho-yeon shared the snapshot she had with BLACKPINK member Jennie who visited her on the set. The two Korean stars are very close friends.

The BLACKPINK member even sent a coffee truck to the set of the series to show her support for Ho-yeon. This was revealed by Squid Game lead star Lee Jung-jae in an interview with Netflix.

"Ho-yeon and Jennie are great friends. Jennie actually visited us with a coffee truck. I was like, 'Wow! That's Jennie from BLACKPINK.' It was cool," he shared in the interview.

Meanwhile, Jennie shared on her Instagram Stories that she received Squid Game merchandise from the show.

Ho-yeon plays the role of Kang Sae-byeok or player No. 067, a North Korean defector who joined the survival game in order to win the prize for her family.

Squid Game is Ho-yeon's acting debut.

She has been modeling for years and graced various prestigious publications and runways throughout her career.

Squid Game tells the story of a group of people facing financial difficulties who join a survival game in order to win the prize money.

It became a global hit on Netflix.
