"Gorgeous" and "beautiful" were just some of the words that greeted former ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio as she shared a photo of her first ever magazine cover.

Charo, who was only 15 years old when she posed for the cover, posted the photo on her Instagram page on Thursday, January 21.

"Just a little throwback... my first ever magazine cover at age 15. During my time, that was called the 'hotpants,'" she wrote in the caption.

As of this writing, Charo's post has garnered more than 7,000 likes and over a hundred comments, with fans and showbiz colleagues expressing their admiration for the veteran actress.

"Grabe, ang ganda mo Ma'am @charosantos," wrote actress Amy Austria.

"Grabe naman!" said actor Ian Veneracion.

Meanwhile, veteran broadcaster Karen Davila said she was amazed that Charo was able to preserve a copy of her first magazine cover, which was dated June 25, 1971.

Responding to her comment, Charo said: "So I can share significant moments in my life with my children and grandchildren. 'Once upon a time there was this quite awkward and shy girl who faced her fears just to make her mother happy!'"

Just recently, Charo, the longtime host of Maalaala Mo Kaya, wowed her social media followers with her throwback photos as she looked back on her life's journey on her 65th birthday.

"As I turn 65, I can only reflect on the goodness of God with all the blessings that He bestowed upon me. As I look back on my journey of triumphs and trials, wins and losses, favors and failures, I know that I could not have survived these alone and my heart is filled with warmth knowing that I was always being guided every step of the way," she said in her post last October.

"I am grateful to have lived, loved, and learned and all the more thankful that I am continually living, loving, and learning," she added.
