Sharon Cuneta disclosed sad news on her Instagram and told her online followers that a reunion movie with her ex-husband and former onscreen partner Gabby Concepcion might not push through.

Sharon and Gabby were one of the biggest love teams in the 80s and decades later, they proved that their chemistry didn’t fade after their latest commercial together broke the Internet and reached millions of views online in just a day.

“Guys, I am sorry. Star (Cinema) has done as much as they can. I have done as much as I could. This is hurtful to me as well. If you are upset, how do you think I feel? Star or I did not want to break your hearts. My heart is broken,” she wrote.

“And I am so very tired. It may be hard to accept, but there may never be another SHARON-GABBY movie again,” she added.

Sharon is currently in Thailand with her husband Kiko Pangilinan and their kids Frankie, Miel and Miguel. In one of her recent posts, the Megastar mentioned that she will, “Nurse my broken heart and make memories with my family. “

The last time Sharon and Gabby worked together for a film was in the 1992 movie Tayong Dalawa.
