Actress Melissa Mendez has finally owned up to her confrontational behavior recently which caused her to be offloaded from a flight.

In a post on her Instagram account, she apologized to Rey Pamaran, the man she slapped who happens to be a friend of actor-model Andrew Wolff.

She wrote, “In light of the recent incident that involved me and Mr. Rey Pamaran, I would just like to simply apologize for my untoward actions and move on from this. This incident has caused a lot of pain and trouble to me and my family, as well as the other party involved.

She accompanied the apology with a caption quoting Martin Luther King which read as: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

Rey, a couple of days ago, also took to his Instagram, to reveal his plan not to press any charges against the character actress provided that she set the record straight “using the truth and nothing else but the whole truth through a genuine public apology.'
