Manolo Pedrosa remarked that he truly learned a lot from his first acting gig in Maalaala Mo Kaya. “Sobrang masaya po kasi it's my first acting part na mabigat po ‘yung drama so for me maganda po ‘yung experience kasi marami akong natutunan dito kahit newbie po ako, I did my best.”

On his learnings from his first acting experience, Manolo shared, “Mahirap talaga ‘yung acting, akala ko madali lang, ang hirap ng acting sobrang hirap, you need to put so much effort to be good in your craft,” he said.

When asked about his comment on those who did not quite like his performance in MMK, Manolo remarked, “Kasi ako I would agree with them naman ‘cause it's my first time so hindi talaga ako marunong, first time ko ‘yun so hindi pa ako marunong mag-acting talagang hindi pa ako magaling mag-acting so I agree with them, so what I would do is work hard po and continue sa workshop and ‘yun po through time I will be better po.”

Manolo relayed that it was great working with Janella Salvador in MMK. “Sobrang mabait siya kahit sobrang may experience na siya sa acting she’s very patient with me kasi ako sobrang nahirapan na ako at kahit marami na akong takes mabait pa rin siya and she's still patient with me.” He admitted that he admires Janella. “I would say, mabait si Janella, maganda siya,” he stated.
