Adiwang won via unanimous decision. <em>Handout/ONE Championship </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- Lito Adiwang will kick off his campaign in 2025 with a showdown against Keito Yamakita on February 8, with the &quot;Thunder Kid&quot; hoping to set the tone for a big year.</p><p>The Adiwang-Yamakita bout is part of the ONE Fight Night 28 card at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Adiwang enters the match on a three-fight winning streak, and a victory over the No. 5 ranked fighter can propel him back into the MMA strawweight rankings. </p><p>The 31-year-old promises that he won&#x27;t disappoint fans in his return to the ONE stage as he eyes his fourth straight victory since returning from an ACL tear late in 2023.  </p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/2024/2/17/adiwang-decisions-williams-for-3rd-straight-win-1553">READ: Adiwang decisions Williams for 3rd straight win</a></div><p>&quot;To my fans and supporters, Happy New Year! And I promise to make it even happier by announcing my return in the ring this February 8,&quot; Adiwang said.  </p><p>&quot;My new year has been silent because I am saving all the fireworks [for] fight day, so don&#x27;t miss it,&quot; he added.  </p><p>Adiwang cut his holidays short, and there were no New Year&#x27;s celebrations for the Filipino fighter.
