LOOK: LeBron James makes history as first athlete Ken doll

NBA superstar LeBron James is the first professional athlete to be immortalized as a Ken doll by toy company Mattel.

The LeBron James Kenbassador doll, produced in partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation, marks a milestone in Ken's 65-year history.

The doll not only captures James's style but also his height, standing one inch taller than the standard Ken doll in custom, larger packaging. 

James also worked with the Barbie team to personalize his doll's outfit, which includes a custom varsity jacket and the LeBron James Family Foundation's signature 'We Are Family' t-shirt, among other items.

Proceeds from the sales of the doll will go towards the LeBron James Family Foundation, which provides support to families through education, housing, healthcare, and job training in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Mattel will also donate a copy of James' children's book, "I Am More Than", to Save the Children for every Barbie Signature LeBron James Kenbassador doll sold at Target and Target.com between April 14 and 19, 2025, up to 5,000 copies.

The doll will be available for purchase at select Target stores and online at Target, Amazon, Walmart and Mattel Creations starting Monday, April 14th at 12:00 AM ET.
