A day after their seven-point loss to the same squad, Ramos posted 18 points, four assists, four rebounds, and three steals as Levanga dominated Koshigaya, 97-73, during their Sunday faceoff at the Koshigaya City Stadium.
This allowed Levanga to move up to 18-29, currently enough for fifth place in the Eastern Division.
Also returning to the win column were AJ Edu and Nagasaki Velca.
After being tripped on Saturday, Nagasaki turned back Utunomiya Brex with a 77-65 win on Sunday at the Happiness Arena.
Edu contributed seven markers and nine boards in the victory that allowed them to improve to 22-25, No.6 in the Western Division.
Unfortunately, their fellow Filipino imports were on the opposite end in their respective games as they were dealt with back-to-back losses.
Ray Parks Jr. and Osaka Evessa fell short of bouncing back to the Shimane Susanoo Magic and lost anew, 95-73, at the Tottori Prefectural Gymnasium.
The former Gilas Pilipinas ace delivered 12 markers, two dimes, and a board, but these went for naught as they fell to 23-24, current fourth-place in the Western Division.
In a separate bout that featured another Pinoy import, Roosevelt Adams and the Yamagata Wyverns absorbed their second straight setback against the Aomori Wat’s, 75-67, at the Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.
This was Yamagata’s 34th loss in 54 games, leading them to settle for sixth place in the Eastern Division. Adams had two points and four rebounds in the loss.
