MANILA -- Mapua and College of St. Benilde are out to take care of business against their lower-ranked opponents when the NCAA Season 100 Final 4 opens on Saturday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

The top-ranked Cardinals battle the No. 4 Lyceum Pirates at 11:00 a.m., followed by a showdown between the No. 2 Blazers and No. 3 San Beda at 2:30 p.m.

A win for Mapua and St. Benilde will send them to the best-of-3 Finals that starts next Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

"Everytime kalaban namin LPU, laging matindi labanan and ineexpect namin na mas matindi pa ang mangyayari sa Final Four," said Mapua coach Randy Alcantara, whose squad is seeking a return trip to the finals in the hopes of ending a 33-year title drought.

St. Benilde, for its part, look to complete its dominance of San Beda this season after winning both of their elimination round games against the Red Lions.
