MANILA — Colegio de San Juan De Letran will be headed by familiar faces when the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament starts later this year.

This, after the Muralla-based institution officially appointed Allen Ricardo as the Knights’ head coach, sources told ABS-CBN News.

A two-time juniors’ basketball champion with Letran, the former deputy of Louie Alas in the seniors’ division will now be officially calling the shots for the Knights after he was previously named as the interim head tactician last February.

Ricardo, who will also be aided by former Letran star Rey Nambatac, went on to complete his second straight NCAA championship with the Squires a month later, and he was already doing double duties back then as he was calling the shots for the Knights in their preseason tournaments.

Meanwhile, former Letran star and two-time PBA MVP Willie Miller is set to take the position of Ricardo as the Squires head coach as they look to continue their dominance in NCAA basketball’s high school scene. 

Alongside the former NCAA Rookie of the Year is another former Knight in Kevin Racal. University of the East Junior Warriors head coach Karl Santos is also set to be a part of the Squires’ coaching staff.
