MANILA, Philippines – De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde scored its seventh straight win in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament on Friday at the expense of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 83-78, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan. 

The Final Four-bound Blazers also boosted their bid for a semis bonus after the triumph, tightening their grip on top of the standings with a 13-2 win-loss card.

Meanwhile, the Knights (7-9) are still in a slump, falling in their last three games, including today's loss.

It was also a vengeful win for the Blazers as they bounced back from a first-round 71-69 defeat against Kevin Santos and company.

Allen Liwag and Justin Sanchez showed the way for the streaking Blazers as they tallied 20 and 16 points, respectively.
